CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- According to the Better Business Bureau, no complaints have been filed against area businesses following the Democratic National Convention held in Charlotte on Sept. 3 to 6.
"We are happy to report that the DNC has not generated any BBB complaints yet," said BBB President Tom Bartholomy.
The BBB had anticipated that parking and towing would be issues around Bank of America stadium on Sept. 6 when President Obama was slated to speak before a crowd of 65,000 people.
"When the President's speech was moved from the stadium to Time Warner Cable arena due to weather concerns," Bartholomy said, "the potential for parking and towing problems was greatly diminished."
The BBB reports that it did receive one telephone call from a person whose car was towed because she parked in a private business parking lot that had towing enforced 24 hours a day.
