CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Better Business Bureau serving the Southern Piedmont of N.C. and S.C. has promoted Maryanne P. Dailey, M.A. to Senior Vice President.
In this role, she provides oversight to the BBB’s consumer inquiry and complaint operations, serves as the BBB’s charity analyst, conducts investigations on unethical businesses and oversees all programs related to older adults.
“Maryanne Dailey is an outstanding member of the BBB’s senior management team,” said BBB President Tom Bartholomy.
“She has dedicated her life’s work to preventing consumers from becoming victims of scams and unethical business practices.”
Dailey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Social Work and a Master of Arts in Human Development and Learning, both of which were earned from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
In 2010, she was named ‘One of the 50 Most Influential Women in Charlotte”.
Originally from Virginia Beach, VA, Dailey has worked with the BBB since 1998 and lives in Charlotte.
